KCNG members are dedicated to building the kind of relationships that will truly allow us to be an asset to other members’ businesses. This is done with one-on-one get-togethers, through our regular fifteen-minute get-to-know-you presentations, and through this website. Check out each person's personal page that showcases their business and see testimonials for their products or services. Start with the Member Director to see who is already receiving benefits from KCNG Membership. You might say we are more like a family than a business association. And, our meetings are not only productive, they are fun.
As of January 2011, we have 32 members and aim to build the group to 50+. Because of our dedication we average 50-100 qualified leads per month and are committed to seeing this number increase. At each meeting we ask, "Who would be a good referral for you?" You guide the membership to help you capture the niche or broad market that will make your business even more successful.
Our by-laws stipulate that only one business from a particular category is allowed at a time. Example: only one chiropractor, one travel agent, one pest control service. There may be more than one insurance company, but you will be asked to determine and stick to your niche market, such as health, auto, or property. Check the Member Directory and the Open Categories page to see who is already affiliated with KCNG and the categories that we hope to fill. We know the open categories listing in not complete, so if you don't see your particular product or service, give our Membership Chairperson a call to see if a slot is open. If your category is taken, we will be glad to put you on a waiting list and notify you if your category opens up.
In order to hold the space for your particular category, members are asked to attend every meeting or have a representative of their business attend in their absence. Members are allowed to miss three meetings per quarter. We certainly understand that business or family issues may interfere with meetings from time to time. Membership is only $60 annually and is prorated for the year when you join.
As was mentioned above, each of our members has their own page to showcase their products or services and we have three easy ways to access this information from the Member Directory page. The left column is an alphabetical list of members. Column two is an alphabetical list of member business' names and column three is the category of the business.
